MedBuild Unveils New Fast-Track Product Line for Imaging BuildingsModSpace's healthcare division showcases prototype for first of 96 building models designed exclusively for imaging equipment at the 2008 RSNA Conference BERWYN, PA & CHICAGO, IL December 1, 2008MedBuild, the specialized healthcare division of Modular Space Corporation (ModSpace®), announces a new product line of imaging buildings at the 94th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) designed to fast track the acquisition of new imaging equipment for both manufacturers and radiologists. Architectural drawing and design packages covering 96 equipment models for the industry's leading OEMs -Siemens Healthcare, Toshiba, Hitachi, General Electric and Philips - will be on hand at the MedBuild booth #7000 in Hall B North Building. In addition, a full size 14'x50' prototype building will be on site, where conference attendees can walk through and experience the state-of-the-art imaging building environment firsthand. "When a hospital is considering a new imaging device they can now eliminate the extra planning and design time, delays, and expense that is typically associated with designing a modular building around the device," says Jim Gabriel, Director of Business Development for MedBuild. "This show demonstrates our 100 percent commitment to providing modular buildings around specific pieces of equipment for all manufacturers. And on that front, we're the first." The MedBuild imaging building showcased at RSNA will also feature Siemens MAGNETOM® ESSENZA MRI system, along with other unique design features such as overhead graphic lighting from Sky Factory and RF & magnetic shielding from Universal. "With MedBuild's pre-configured units, medical practices simply specify the device, and almost immediately, they have a turnkey option to house these multi-million dollar pieces of equipment. And by providing a fast-track space option, we're helping equipment manufacturers offer an alternate solution to the often lengthy and costly conventional construction method," says Gabriel. "This streamlines the process tremendously, and makes it possible for hospital and medical offices to see more patients faster." The six-day conference, which begins Nov. 30, will play host to approximately 20 scientific and exhibitor press conferences, and more than 2,000 scientific presentations and posters covering the latest trends in radiologic research. "There's no other modular space company in the country that could pull this off," says Gabriel. "We know that rapid development of new technologies and treatments is inherent to the healthcare industry. Our strength lies in our ability to partner with our clients to design a flexible environment to complement any workflow."
