Kickapoo Casino's expansion project is a great example of how modular buildings from ModSpace can serve in even the most unusual applications.

While Kickapoo desperately wanted to expand their gaming area and add more office space, they didn't want to wait out the typical 12-18 month construction timeline to get it done.

ModSpace developed a combination single/two story modular complex that served Kickapoo's needs perfectly. The project consisted of (4) 14' X 70' units (two on each level), a 70' X 70' single story 6-plex, and a 12' X 60 trailer converted into a surveillance trailer.

The two-story building houses a gaming area on the first floor and offices with security areas on the second floor - allowing the administrative staff quick and easy access to the gaming area. The interior of the first floor is a wide-open space with a unique 24' X 22' glass enclosed bingo or card area that can be viewed by customers and overlooks the rest of the first floor. An enclosed stairwell goes up to the second floor where there are 8 offices, a kitchen area and two bathrooms, with offices on the west side allowing for a wonderful view of the entire casino complex.

A beautifully built 6' long breezeway was added to connect the 70' X 70' modular complex onto the existing original casino. This created an impressive connection from the new two-story building to the existing original casino allowing the customers to enter into the main area.

The overall expansion of the casino has resulted in an increased gaming area for customers and additional revenue generating opportunity for the casino.
